God is a figment of one's imagination. He/She is something to give us hope, to guide us, whether or not we chose that path. He/She does not control your destiny, you do.
Religion is the same, except with more rules & full of contradiction. For example, if you are able to praise god from ANYWHERE, why is it a sin to not attend church EVERY Sunday?
